God Knows
…”For those God foreknow he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.”… Romans 8:29
Everyday in Jesus’ live was scripted by God, his Father. His life had been foretold by the prophets of the Old Testament. In the New Testament people like Simeon in Luke 2: 25 – 32 and Anna in Luke 2:36 – 38 were waiting to see the Messiah that they had heard about since they were young.
That means that everything Jesus went through was predestined for Him. God had foreknowledge of everything that was going to affect Jesus; therefore God had ordained, decreed and approved of every difficulty and hardship Jesus had to suffer through in this life, including His death on the cross.
Nothing that happened in Jesus’ life took God by surprise. Nothing that transpired caused God to have to regroup and come up with another plan. God never had to adjust Jesus’ script in order to accommodate a new turn of events.
God already knew exactly what Jesus was going to deal with from day to day just like He knows what we’re going to deal with from day to day and what we are going to deal with in the future.
God set up it. He ordained it. He sanctioned it. He approved it.
His plans are not our plans. His ways are not our ways. …”’For my thoughts are not your thoughts and your ways are not my ways, declares the Lord.’”… Isaiah 55:8
When we come to Christ our lives ceased to be our own. …” I know, O Lord, that a man’s life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps.”… Jeremiah 10:23
God gets to take us down whatever road He chooses for us. He gets to decide what enough is and what is too much. God is the only one that has the right to say what level of pressure needs to be applied to our lives in order to get out of our lives what He wants.
It puts me in mind of the Jena 6. I’m sure this is not what they had planned for their lives. I’m sure they didn’t wake up one morning and say, “Let’s start a new leg to the civil rights movement.” But God had a plan and they are the instruments He decided to use.
We are all God’s instruments and He can use us as He sees fit. He didn’t promise a life of comfort or convenience, but He did promise to bring us out. He promised not to let our difficulties overwhelm us and He promised to be with us always. (Isaiah 43:1 – 5a)
Daniel would have never known that God could shut a hungry lion’s mouth unless he had been in the pit with one. The three Hebrew boys would have never known that God knew how to retard a fire and protect them if they hadn’t been thrown in the furnace. Moses would have never known that God could make someone with a speech impediment a spokesperson for a nation if he didn’t stutter. Paul would have never known the full measure of God’s mercy if he hadn’t had a thorn in his side.
If we never have to suffer. If we never have to go through something difficult. If we never have to endure heartache and hardship we can never know what God can really do.
God knows where you are. He knows what’s going on. He hasn’t missed it. He ordained it.
…”’For I know the plans I have for you,”’ declares the Lord, “’plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”… Jeremiah 29:11
Blessings and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
First Lady Anita
What does God and the Jena 6 have in common? Nothing I am sure he would say punish those thugs. He doesn’t think violence is the answer I am almost positive of this. Maybe God had a plan for these boys parents to start acting like parents. I can’t see God and the Jena 6 having anything to do with one another.

God has everything to do Jena 6. God is a God of justice. Anything that is unjust is unGodly. Treating the Jena 6 like they are murderers just because they are Black is unjust, therefore it is unGodly.
God doesn’t look at the color of our skin, He lookd at our hearts. So if the judges, District Attorney, the Principal and other officials in Jena, LA are treating the Black children differently than they would treat the White students then God cares.
The Word says everything that is done in the dark will come to light. The evil of racism in Jena, and other places like it, came to light.
We must look at the entire picture.
